Safety & Health Officer

Job Description

  • Awareness of DOSH, Guthrie policies and implementation of the same Convey Safety Policy to all levels
  • Plan and advice management on accident prevention and safe working methods
  • Plan and execute safety trainings
  • Carry out regular safety inspection to ensure working safe work methods and maintenance of safety and health requirement
  • Conduct weekly/monthly safety committee meetings
  • Liase with client safety reps
  • Ensure safety compliance by conductive periodic safety audit
  • Coordinate emergency response activities and report to the appropriate body
  • Analyse and provide recommendations for prevention of accidents
  • Conduct safety training to staffs and workers
  • Ensure compliance with permit to work procedures requirements


  • Minimum Diploma/Professional Certificate approved by DOSH/NIOSH
  • MS Projects, AutoCAD, Excel, Word
  • Must have NIOSH Green Book registered with JKKP
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
