Job Responsibilities
- Schedule meetings and prepares the minutes of meetings
- Monitoring and ensure action taken for the matter arising of each meeting held
- Maintaining effective records and administration, i.e, prepare and disseminate correspondence, memos, and forms
- Liaise with appointed company secretarial firm in connection with company secretarial matters
- Maintain and update statutory records including company registers, resolutions, minutes and maintain records with good filing system. Handle confidential documents and always ensure they remain secure
- Securing signatures of directors/ shareholders on all company secretarial related documents
- Assist in ad-hoc assignments and other administrative work from time to time
Qualification
- Candidates should have at least Degree in Secretarial, Business Administration, or the equivalent
- Work independently and be the key point of contract for the clients under your portfolio
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Possess a strong sense of responsibility, commitment and able to multi-task in a fast-working environment
- Computer literate; Microsoft Office or equivalent
- Able to work in team and individual
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Company Secretary at a service firm
- ICSA qualification
- License with MIA/ ISCA will be more advantage
- Well verse with the practical applications of the Companies Act 2016 and other related/ relevant laws and regulations
- Very detailed oriented and meticulous
- Organized, proactive and able to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment. Self-discipline and able to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment. Self-discipline and able to work under minimum supervision
- Good command of written and spoke Bahasa Malaysia and English
